Boasting the advanced DMC7 capsule — the same as sE Electronics’ acclaimed V7 vocal mic — the V7 MC1 capsule allows you to bring its high-grade sound to your Shure handheld transmitter. It delivers the same incredible level of performance as the V7, lending a remarkably crisp and open character to your voice, with an impressive 40Hz to 19kHz frequency response. Moreover, the specialized supercardioid aluminum voice coil yields outstanding off-axis rejection, helping to isolate your voice from other instruments and ensuring vast amounts of gain before feedback. You also get a patented integrated capsule suspension, efficiently decoupling the mic from mechanical vibration and ensuring minimal handling noise. Additionally, this outstanding microphone includes a switchable internal windscreen, efficiently reducing unwanted wind noise and plosive pops. The V7 MC1 brandishes a rugged all-metal chassis, reliable gold-plated contacts, and a sturdy spring steel grille with beveled edges, preventing your mic from rolling when you put it down. With the sE Electronics V7 MC1, your Shure wireless system will capture your voice in the most natural way you’ve ever heard onstage.
Note: This mic capsule is not compatible with Shure’s BLX and GLX-D series wireless transmitters.
V7-derived capsule provides stellar performance
The sE Electronics V7 made quite a splash when we unveiled it, it’s among our favorite dynamic vocal microphones. The V7 MC1 houses the same DMC7 capsule as the V7, ensuring the same outstanding sonic performance, with a full-spectrum frequency response from 40Hz to 19kHz — exactly what you need to elevate the performance of your Shure handheld transmitter. It also houses the same supercardioid aluminum voice coil, giving you superior off-axis rejection for maximum isolation and ensuring maximum gain before feedback. Finally, the V7 MC1 includes sE’s patented integrated capsule suspension, isolating it from vibrations, jolts, shocks, and handling noise.
The ultimate road warrior
Live performances can be especially rough on microphones. That’s why the sE Electronics V7 MC1 sports a road-ready, all-metal chassis. The chassis’s incredibly durable zinc alloy will withstand the wear and tear of day-to-day life on the road. Moreover, its spring steel mesh grille is dent-proof and corrosion-resistant, ensuring hard-wearing reliability you can count on. Beyond that, the beveled edge around the V7 MC1’s grille prevents your microphone from rolling around when you set it down.
