The REVELATION 7 pickup has a hot output while retaining low-end clarity, which is important so that the low B string doesn’t sound muddy. The tonality of this pickup is very close to Dean’s TIME CAPSULE – perfect for players who want that vintage Dean tone in their 7-String.The TIME CAPSULE series of pickups is what Dean currently uses in their original TC series guitars. These pickups capture the biting tones of the vintage Dean instruments produced from 1977 to 1986 with very strong lows and Mids.
